is the tour accessible?
We try our best to make this experience available for everyone. However, due to our robust health and safety procedures, and the prevailing sea conditions on any given day, we do have a few restrictions.
As a general rule our boats are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, but we can accommodate passengers who are unable to sit unaided.

are there any health and safety conditions we should be aware of?
Encounter Kaikoura requires that all passengers consider themselves medically fit to be able to participate in a tour.
All passengers must comply with instructions given by the crew.
Passengers acknowledge that as with any outdoor or ocean-based activity there are inherent risks and thereby take full responsibility for their health and actions, releasing Encounter Kaikoura from any claim, action and/or liability.
